Get Out, Get Moving, and Get Fit
By the time we make it past the first month or two of the year, it begins to feel as though winter will never end. We grow tired of cold, damp, dreary weather. We miss the sun, miss feeling warmth on our skin and a fresh breeze on our face. And, although we still want to be fit, we tire of our same old exercise routines―logging miles on a treadmill, working out on exercise machines, doing workouts to a DVD. And what have your kids been doing over the winter? Staying active? Or spending too much time on the computer? This summer, why not shake things up a bit and plan activities that not only will enable you to spend quality time with your family but get you all out and moving?
